Program Description

Welcome to the EFK After-School Club! In Mechanical Madness, we experiment with the fundamental physics of mechanical engineering—motion, energy, and the principles of simple machines—to invent wacky contraptions. Students will be encouraged to apply their understanding in creative ways, integrating mechanical components such as motors and sensors to craft increasingly intricate designs and set off thrilling chain reactions.

From marble runs to Rube Goldberg machines, we’ll tap into the creative potential of transforming fundamental concepts into elaborate and exciting mechanical wonders. Along this journey, students will cultivate problem-solving and teamwork skills through engaging collaborative design challenges. Join us in constructing your very own mechanical marvels!
