Getting off the floor from seated, lying down or standing often gets more difficult as we age. Studies are showing that your ability to get up from the floor is a measure of your health. Regular practice helps keep your body up for the job. In this workshop we’ll start from the ground up, exploring our feet and how they influence the rest of our body, and work our way up to the hips and core. Props will be provided to help meet you where you are at. This is an all levels class that will include gentle somatic and functional exercises.
